This week’s question comes from the Navigation Rules, specifically that part of the rule book that tells us who needs to stay out of who’s way. I’ve posted this question after seeing recent videos where recreational boaters were caught making some rather dubious errors in judgement around rather large steel ships.
The Question: (Two-part question)
A-Under the Navigation Rules, in the proper order, who must stay out of who’s way?
B-Under the Navigation Rules a vessel may be classified as
- Not under command-what constitutes a vessel being NUC?
- Restricted in Ability to Maneuver-What constitutes being RAM
- Fishing-What constitutes a Fishing Vessel
As always I will post the answer on Sunday night!
