Sailing Fundamentals

With the coming of spring we thought we would launch a new category of posts-Sailing Fundamentals.  The first of these posts should be out in a day or so.

When I was teaching full-time for Blue Water Sailing School at the end of the course students would always ask where can I learn more about sailing.  So with Sailing Fundamentals I will try to fill some of that gap.

Also, some of what I will write about in this category will be basic knowledge that we all learned when we started sailing.  I am presenting it here as a refresher to those new to sailing, to those who have just purchased their first boat and may be anxious about that first sail and to refresh people’s memories after a long winter of contemplating sailing as they watched the snow fall.
